Tips for self-care while traveling Schedule time for yourself: Set aside time each day for activities that help you relax and recharge. Exercise: Try to move your body in a way that makes you sweat, like walking, yoga, or a bodyweight workout. Eat well: Try to eat healthy meals and stay hydrated. Get enough sleep: Try to get enough sleep and avoid burnout. Try something new: Try to try new things and look at the world with your eyes, not the lens. Connect with other black women. It's an opportunity to talk to people you meet and socialize and make new friends. Practice mindfulness: Try to practice mindfulness or meditation.
