A Historical and Biblical Story About the origin of dreadlocks in it's relation to the biblical story of Samson. Eight year old 'ZOE is an animated character but she knows her history!

Dreadlocks hold deep spiritual meaning for many, especially within the Rastafarian tradition, and are often connected to the biblical character Samson as a symbol of divine strength and commitment to God. In the Bible, Samson’s uncut hair was the physical sign of his Nazarite vow—a sacred covenant that set him apart for God’s purpose. His strength was not just physical but spiritual, flowing from his obedience and dedication, with his long, unshorn locks serving as a visible symbol of that power. Similarly, Rastafarians wear dreadlocks as a spiritual expression of their covenant with the Most High, seeing their hair as a source of strength, identity, and resistance against oppression. The story of Samson inspires the belief that one’s hair can carry sacred energy and purpose when kept in alignment with divine principles.
